The shrine grounds are home to impressive old trees, including five large camphor trees designated as natural monuments by Fukuoka Prefecture and the approximately 700-year-old Aya Cedar, which is also a prefectural natural monument. According to tradition, the Aya Cedar was planted by Empress Jingu.

A distinctive feature of the shrine is the large Goen-Dama, a five-yen-coin-shaped object. Passing through it is said to bring good connections, making it a popular spot for those wishing for good relationships.
