(AI Chatbot Service)

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set forth the conditions for using the AI chatbot service (the “Service”) provided by Vision Service Co., Ltd. (the “Company”).

By using the Service, users (the “Users”) acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

By using this chatbot, you agree to the following terms:

Article 1 (Description of the Service)

  1. The Service is an information service that provides general information through a chat-based interface using artificial intelligence (“AI”), including but not limited to tourism information, local and regional information, dining and facility information, and general information related to disasters and safety.

  2. The Service may focus on specific regions (for example, tourist destinations within Japan); however, all information provided is intended solely for general informational purposes.

  3. The Service does not provide professional advice, including but not limited to medical, legal, investment, or final decision-making advice regarding disaster response or safety.

Article 2 (Characteristics of AI-Generated Responses)

  1. Responses provided by the Service are automatically generated by AI and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or up to date at all times.

  2. The information provided may be based on publicly available sources, pre-registered data, and trained AI models, and therefore may contain inaccuracies or outdated content.

  3. Users shall use the responses from the Service as reference information only and shall make final decisions and take actions at their own responsibility.

Article 3 (Verification of Important Information)

  1. For important matters such as business hours, pricing, transportation details, safety and disaster-related information, and reservation availability, Users must always verify the latest information through official websites, official service providers, or relevant authorities.

  2. The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from reliance on information provided by the Service.

Article 4 (User Responsibility)

  1. Users shall use the Service and act based on its information at their own judgment and responsibility.

  2. The Company shall not be involved in, nor be liable for, any disputes or issues arising between Users and third parties in connection with the use of the Service.

Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals

  • Criminal acts or acts that encourage or facilitate criminal activity

  • Inputting false, defamatory, discriminatory, violent, or obscene content

  • Acts that interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service or the Company

  • Reverse engineering, unauthorized access, or imposing excessive load on the Service

  • Unauthorized resale, redistribution, or commercial exploitation of AI-generated responses

  • Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company

Article 6 (Use by Minors)

1. The Service may be used by minors for educational or learning purposes, including but not limited to school activities, field trips, study tours, and educational travel programs.

2. When a minor uses the Service, such use should be conducted under the guidance, supervision, or consent of a parent, legal guardian, teacher, or other responsible adult, as applicable.

3. The Company does not intentionally collect personal information from minors unless explicitly provided, and all data handling shall be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and the Company’s Privacy Policy.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property Rights)

  1. All copyrights and intellectual property rights related to the Service, including but not limited to programs, systems, designs, and textual content, belong to the Company or to legitimate rights holders.

  2. Users may use AI-generated responses solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.

  3. Any commercial use, reproduction, or redistribution requires prior permission from the Company.

Article 8 (Handling of Data)

  1. The Company may collect and use user input and usage data (such as chat logs), in an anonymized form, for the purposes of service improvement, analysis, and optimization.

  2. The Company does not collect personally identifiable information unless explicitly provided by the User.

  3. The handling of personal information shall be governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Modification or Suspension of the Service)

  1. The Company may modify, suspend, or terminate the Service, in whole or in part, without prior notice.

  2. The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users as a result of such modification, suspension, or termination.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company makes no warranties of any kind regarding the Service.

  2. The Company shall not be liable for any damages, whether direct or indirect, arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.

Article 11 (Amendment of the Terms)

  1. The Company may revise these Terms as necessary.

  2. Revised Terms shall become effective upon being posted or displayed within the Service.

  3. Continued use of the Service after such revisions shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

  2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
