Located in the lush green hills of Shuku, Yukuhashi City, the Inado Tumulus Cluster contains many burial mounds, including stone chamber and scallop burial mounds.

Ruins where you can feel the life and scenery of the Kofun period

The Inado Tumulus Group, which is of great historical and cultural value, is located on a coastal terrace about 10 meters above sea level, and approximately 30 burial mounds have been identified, stretching 1km from north to south. Armor and other artifacts were excavated from Tumuli No. 8, No. 15, and No. 21, and were designated as National Important Cultural Properties of Japan as "Fukuoka Prefecture Inado Kofun Tumulus Group Excavated Artifacts.

The gently undulating hills are decorated with seasonal wildflowers, and the sunlight filtering through the leaves is pleasant. Looking down at the mound, the noise of modern life fades away and one feels a peaceful connection with antiquity.
