Chikujyou Town's Makinoharu Campground is located on a lushly green plateau. This campground is rich in nature and has been selected as one of the 100 best places for forest bathing in Fukuoka Prefecture. With both small and large bungalows, it is perfect for small groups of family and friends, as well as large groups such as clubs and children's groups. Tent sites will open in 2022, allowing visitors to stay in tents to enjoy nature to the fullest.

Fully equipped for family peace of mind

The site is equipped with a cooking building and toilet building, and there are also desks and benches for setting up tents. The cooking area is equipped with a kamado (fire pit), so you can enjoy cooking over an open fire or a bonfire.

Summer invites river play shaded under tarps. Autumn paints the hillsides in warm foliage, and winter brings crisp skies ideal for stargazing around a campfire. Walk the grounds to spot forest birds or simply take in the fresh air.
