Tosenkyo is a ravine in Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, and is known as the birthplace of the revolving somen-nagashi. About 200,000 people visit the gorge every year and enjoy somen noodles cooled in spring water, which has been selected as one of the '100 best water villages', in a cool environment even in mid-summer.
