Kitakyushu Eco-Town Center

Learn about the environment

This facility introduces the Eco-Town Project, which aims to realize a recycling-oriented society, and showcases initiatives of the Next-Generation Energy Park, contributing to decarbonization efforts.

By observing how items once discarded as “waste” are transformed into “resources” at recycling plants, and by visiting large-scale renewable energy facilities, students gain opportunities to reflect on reducing waste and understanding the importance of energy. The experience inspires each individual to think proactively about a sustainable future and take meaningful action.
