Agricultural Park: Connecting with Nature

Established in 1973 to promote agriculture in Kitakyushu City, this lush agricultural park features displays and experimental cultivation of crops, as well as exhibits on the history of agriculture and the agricultural sector in Kitakyushu City. Visitors can observe the raising of Kokura beef cattle and see the Kiso horse, a natural monument of Nagano Prefecture. The park is home to a wide variety of flowers and trees, and visitors can enjoy approximately 170 plum trees and 1,000 rose bushes, which bloom in full splendor throughout the seasons.
