Kitakyushu Monorail

Learning the inner workings of the logistics industry through the monorail that supports the city

Launched in 1985, this is Japan’s first urban monorail. Passengers can experience passing through ticket gates when boarding. Additionally, for groups of 15 or more, we offer tours and guided explanations of the vehicle maintenance depot—an area normally off-limits to the public—available Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We invite you to experience for yourselves our commitment to a safe, reliable, and comfortable monorail.
